Just a short walk from Nuthatch Cottage in the New Forest  you will find its’ 2.5 acre secluded coarse fishing lake, well stocked with Carp, Roach and Tench. This lake is enjoyed only by the family and occupants of Nuthatch Cottage. The area around the Lilly covered lake is ideal for private picnics for those that do not want to fish or for quietly enjoying a book amidst the tranquil surroundings.

The famous Rivers Test and Avon are also within easy reach, as are other nearby coarse fisheries in Burley and Sway. Sea fishing trips are available from both Mudeford and Keyhaven.

The Lake
A 2.5 acre secluded lake, surrounded by mature trees and well stocked with Carp, Roach and Tench.

Tickets
For those wishing to fish tickets are available, however, a current rod licence must be held (or can be easily purchased from the local Post Office) and shown before fishing begins. Guests can fish from dawn until one hour before dusk for a small daily charge (£10).

Other Stuff
There is also lockable storage adjacent to the cottage for fishing tackle and clothing.
